Adriana is the founder and creative talent behind the luxury handmade greeting card brand Mrs Lovesy. Adriana has a Fine Art Degree from the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art London and launched her greeting card business in 2015 whilst on maternity leave with her eldest son Lucien. She also received her first Henries finalist nomination that same year. Adriana has gone on to receive further nominations in 2016 and 2020. In 2018, she was selected as a finalist in the Kent Women in Business Awards for Mumpreneur of the Year. Adriana’s cards have sold in independent retail shops across the UK and on notonthehighstreet.com. She currently exports to France and Australia.
Adriana joined the council in 2020 to be part of something that could bring about positive change in our industry, “As a British woman of African heritage, I’m hopefully able to bring some perspective and views from an under-represented group as well as being a voice for the smaller publishers.”
In 2022, Adriana took on the role as the Membership and Marketing Manager for the GCA. Adriana’s passion for our industry, coupled with her marketing background and experience as a small business owner, means she brings a broad range of experience to this new role.
