We are looking for a creative who is passionate about design and eager to contribute to our evolving business. We are looking to recruit a full-time inhouse creative artworker to join our friendly and growing greeting card business, based in Newmarket, Suffolk.
The role will include adapting, reformatting and recolouring existing imagery as well as generating design concepts for new ranges and bringing to life artwork.
The applicant should be self-motivated, have great attention to detail, display excellent communication skills and be able exchange ideas and critique alongside fellow team members.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. In addition, the applicant must be able to manage a variety of creative responsibilities which would include:
- · Adapting, reformatting and recolouring existing artwork as well as generating concepts for new ranges
- · Great lettering and typographical skills
- · Preparing print ready artwork files
- · Designing and creating website images catalogues and promotional material
- · Creating and manipulating product shots for digital platforms
Preferably we are looking for a candidate with one to two years’ experience within the design industry; while this is ideal, it is not essential if the applicant can demonstrate their ability and enthusiasm to learn and improve their skill set.
