How to survive your first trade show, PG Live Edition

In the arsenal of marketing tools at the disposal of every publisher, the Trade Show probably ranks near the top for effectiveness, expense and the amount of time involved before, during and after the event. For some publishers, trade shows like PG Live, Spring Fair, Harrogate Home & Gift et al generates adrenaline akin to an extreme sport. For others it can feel like being thrown into a viper pit on I’m A Celeb. Whether you are exhibiting at PG LIVE in June for the first time or thinking about exhibiting in the future this webinar will be your survival guide.

New entrants to the arena in particular need advice and guidance, and should seek to learn from the mistakes of those who have trodden the path before. So the GCA have put together a team of experts to help you survive your first trade show.

The panel of experts include Mark Callaby, GCA Council Member co-owner and Managing Director of Ohh Deer, Sarah Jackson, owner of Stormy Knight, Tracey Arnaud and Jim Bullough, Operations Team, PG Live and Adriana Lovesy from the GCA. They will be joined by Sally Matson, Owner of Red Card, Petworth. Sally is one of the UK’s leading independent greeting card and gift retailers a regular visitor to Top Drawer and will share invaluable insights from the other side of the counter, as well her perspective on the dos and don’ts for greeting card publishers looking to supply indies like her.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions. Please remember that there are no silly questions, the panel will answer them all. Contact Adriana at the GCA for more details adriana@gca.cards
