In partnership with the GCA, Windles are excited to announce a Litho Workshop taking place on Tuesday 19th March at our site in Thame, Oxfordshire. To step up our continued effort to support Publishers as their businesses grow, our team will be hosting a hands-on experience day to showcase litho printing to those Publishers interested in transitioning to this new method of Greeting Card production.
In advance of the day, signed up members are encouraged to send in a piece of artwork for us to impose onto our Flexisheet. They will then follow it on its path live through production with 200 printed copies of their cards being made available for them to take home at the end of the day. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
AGENDA:
9.30am – Collection from Haddenham & Thame Parkway Station ( If traveling by Train)
10am – Welcome and introductions
10.30am – Prepress tour
See the process of your artwork being pre-flighted and imposed onto proof and plate
11am – KBA press pass & factory tour
Watch your designs being printed live on our brand new press Lydia
12pm – Lunchtime
1.30pm – Guillotine, folding and packing
Applying the finishing touches to your product
2.30pm – Q & A
4pm – Finish

Directions: The factory is easily accessible being just a mile from the Haddenham & Thame Parkway train station or the M40 motorway. A shuttle service from the station will run on the day and we offer plenty of onsite parking spaces too.
