Tineka Smith is the founder of Huetribe, a greetings card company aimed at promoting diverse representation. She is also the co-author of MIXED UP: Confessions of an Interracial Couple from Audible.
Her work also includes being a freelance expert communications consultant to the United Nations. Previously, she served as a Press Officer for the United Nations Human Rights Committee and worked on high profile campaigns such as World Refugee Day.
Tineka has been interviewed on various BBC Radio shows as a racial equality and diversity commentator. Her writing and commentary on racism and diversity has appeared in titles such as Grazia UK, Elle UK, talkRADIO, BBC Radio London, BBC 5 Live, Huffington Post, Mashable, Yahoo!, World Radio Switzerland PRECIOUS women’s magazine, Business Advice, Progressive Greetings, Retail Times, Retail Sector, The Voice, Gal-Dem, Bride Magazine and many more.
