David Falkner

GCA Council - Council Member
Company: Cardology

Having graduated with a First from Oxford, David began his career in smaller companies, working directly for the CEOs of premium drinks and luxury retail brands. He subsequently spent 10 years leading large operational teams and undertaking increasingly senior strategy, go-to-market and commercial roles with a FTSE 100 company, working within the UK and internationally.

In 2014, David co-founded luxury greetings card publisher; Cardology, where he leads on commercials, trade sales and licensing – tying together an expanding portfolio with a rapidly growing customer base. Prior to joining the Council, David contributed to pan-industry topics as a founder member of the GCA Diversity Forum, a blogger on the GCA website, and an active panellist during our Brexit Preparation webcasts.

David says ‘I’m fascinated by human interactions, pricing (including price-anchoring) and transformative products; all of which I see as central to why customers will continue to buy our products in a rapidly changing world. It’s a genuine privilege to be invited to join the council, and I’m most excited by the opportunity to learn together, whilst offering something of value back to fellow members’.
