Fiona has been with Hallmark for over 25 years and in that time has gained a wealth of experience across all facets of the industry. Fiona started her Hallmark journey role as a buyer for components and finished goods working for Fine Art Developments. Since then she has followed a varied and wide-ranging career path; as head of procurement, she led numerous exciting projects, implemented Integrated Business Planning into Hallmark, managed the publisher-broker relationship for Hallmark and travelled extensively across the supply base, developing a deep understanding of the complex creative, manufacture and logistics processes we see in our industry; latterly, as Commercial Head, she supports a diverse blend of customers from Independent stores, through to high street chains, on-line trade and grocery retailers. Fiona has a wide breadth of industry experience to bring to the GCA.
As an enthusiastic card-sender, Fiona is particularly fascinated with her own teenage daughters’ engagement with the industry. Watching how the card senders of the future celebrate occasions and communicate with each other is high on Fiona’s agenda as she seeks to understand how we as an industry can engage with and excite them and all other generations. Fiona is delighted to join the GCA Council and looks forward to promoting the industry at a time where it faces much change and many challenges.
