Woodmansterne Publications Ltd is a third-generation, family-run British publisher and one of the UK’s leading suppliers of premium greeting cards to independent retailers.

From our design studio located on the historic site of the former Croxley Mills – the birthplace of modern stationery, where John Dickson invented cardboard and the gummed envelope, we create cards that feed the soul, lift the spirit and celebrate British culture.
Whether it’s through the magic of Quentin Blake’s illustrations and the beauty of National Trust imagery, to the iconic patterns of Emma Bridgewater and the humour of Punch cartoons, our collections help people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments, and express their individuality, thoughts and passions.

From our production and distribution centre in Milton Keynes, we design, manufacture and finish every card with care in the UK. We supply more than 30 million greeting cards each year to retailers across the UK, combining exceptional quality with reliable service.

Our commitment to responsible manufacturing includes FSC®-certified paper, vegetable-based inks, recycled envelope paper and our Smart Seal packaging, which has removed millions of pieces of single-use plastic from the greeting card industry.
