GCA CEO Amanda Ferguson attended Royal Mail Christmas event at the House of Commons hosted by Adam Jogee MP
The event brought together MPs, staff from the Department for Business & Trade, members of the Royal Mail leadership team, and posties from across the country. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the festive season and discuss the importance of post for greeting cards.
Also attending were members of the British Heart Foundation who provided cards which people were encouraged to write and post in a post box provided. Above see House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle posting his cards!

Adverts and media coverage from the Royal Mail Christmas campaign were also showing, Royal Mail confirmed they have already had 31,000 entries to the Magical Christmas Card Draw they are running – and it’s not too late to enter for the chance to win up to £100,000 (competition closes 23rd Dec 2025)!
Royal Mail confirmed that all cards posted before last posting dates will be delivered for Christmas!
Looking Ahead
Amanda discussed with both Alistair Cochran Royal Mail CEO, and David Gold Director External Affairs & Policy, opportunities for working together in 2026.

The event was hosted by Adam Jogee MP for Newcastle-under-Lyme (pictured speaking below), a passionate card sender who is eager to visit a local GCA member.
