GCA Pride in London Collection Wins Best Diversity & Inclusion Range at The Henries 2026

The Greeting Card Association (GCA) is delighted to announce that our Pride in London Collection has won the Best Diversity & Inclusion Range award at The Henries 2026, widely regarded as the Oscars of the greeting card industry.

The award recognises a unique collaboration that brought together publishers from across the greeting card community to create a vibrant collection of cards celebrating love, inclusivity, identity and human connection in support of Pride in London 2025.

What makes this achievement even more special is that this was the first year the collection had been eligible for entry into The Henries, making its success all the more meaningful.

The winning designs demonstrate both the creativity of our industry and the important role greeting cards play in helping people celebrate, support and connect with one another.

The Award-Winning Collection

The collection brought together an incredible group of publishers, each contributing designs that reflected the diversity, creativity and inclusivity of our industry.

The award-winning range featured contributions from GCA Members:

Cath Tate Cards, Dinosaurs Doing Stuff, Dean Morris Cards, Hallmark, Jessie Maeve Studio, LoveLossDiscoballs, Ohh Deer, Pink and Mint Design, The Queer Store, Ricicle and UK Greetings.

The cards were originally created for Pride in London 2025 and handed out along the route, helping spread messages of love, support and celebration to thousands of attendees.

The collection was later made available for sale online through Ohh Deer, allowing it to qualify for entry into The Henries Awards.

A Collective Effort

While the trophy may have been presented to the GCA, this award truly belongs to everyone who played a part in making the project a success.

We would like to say a huge thanks to all the publishers who generously contributed designs and supported the initiative from the very beginning.

A special thank you goes to GCA Vice President Mark Callaby, whose support in making the cards commercially available through Ohh Deer enabled the collection to be entered into The Henries for consideration.

We would also like to thank the Pride in London team and the many volunteers and supporters who helped bring the project to life, distributed the cards on the day and helped share the positive message behind the campaign.

The success of the collection demonstrates the power of collaboration within the greeting card industry and what can be achieved when publishers come together behind a shared purpose.

  • “It’s the one that I really wanted to win this year on behalf of the GCA and the 11 publishers who contributed to the card designs we handed out on the streets of London. Pride in London is a great example of how greeting cards spread love and joy and this award recognises the amazing support you can find for the LGBTQ+ community throughout our industry. Thanks especially goes to those publishers: Cath Tate Cards, Dinosaurs Doing Stuff, Dean Morris Cards, Hallmark, Jessie Maeve Studio, LoveLossDiscoballs, Ohh Deer, Pink and Mint Design, The Queer Store, Ricicle and UK Greetings.”

More Than a Trophy

Of course, we’re thrilled to have a shiny Henries trophy, but what makes this award particularly special is what it represents.

The Pride in London Collection showcased how greeting cards can help people express support, share love, celebrate identity and create meaningful moments of connection. It is a wonderful example of our industry’s commitment to ensuring everyone feels seen, valued and celebrated.

At its heart, this award recognises far more than a collection of cards. It celebrates the creativity, generosity and inclusivity of the greeting card community and the willingness of publishers to work together to support an initiative that makes a real difference.

  • Thank you to every publisher, volunteer, supporter and sponsor who contributed to the Pride event.
We are incredibly proud of what was achieved together and delighted to see the project recognised with one of the industry’s most prestigious awards.
