Graphite Creative, sponsor of the 2023 GCA Conference and AGM have been specialising the greeting card printing space for almost a decade. They have recently launched a new innovation that is set to shake up the world of foil printing. We asked Andrew Potton to give us the lowdown…
How long have you been a GCA Member?
Graphite Creative have been members of the GCA for about 10 years now, since our formation back in 2012.
What services do you provide that would be of interest to GCA members?
Graphite is a specialist greeting card and social stationery manufacturer, based solely in the UK. We offer a whole host of finishes to publishers large and small, along with litho print. We supply greeting cards, mini cards, postcards, gift wrap, advent calendars, notebooks and more.

Are there any innovations in your field that you want to share?
Yes, we have a new finish in the market called ‘Liquid Foil’, which is a raised foil process and does not require the cost of expensive dies.
The process appears like an embossed foil and can be run using gloss gold, gloss silver, satin gold and a variety of different colours are now available.
You can also run multiples on a sheet without the need for any dupe dies…it’s a win win all round! It has proved popular thus far, so very happy to send out samples to any publishers interested in this finish. Please feel free to get in touch.
