GCA Member Support Initiative: Protecting Your IP Rights on Temu

Please see below details on the support initiative from Temu, designed specifically to help GCA members protect their intellectual property more quickly and effectively. This follows the GCA pilot, ongoing conversations and a recent webinar the GCA held with Temu around copyright infringement on the Temu website.

Many members have already used our step-by-step guide to reporting copyright infringement on Temu as part of a GCA pilot, this is now being extended to all GCA members.

This initiative builds on that process—offering additional support, faster response times, and more proactive protection.

What’s new for GCA members?

Temu, in close partnership with the Greeting Card Association (GCA), is proud to offer a dedicated Support Initiative. This program is designed to help GCA members protect their unique copyrighted designs and intellectual property (IP) rights with ease and efficiency.

Program Highlights

  • Simplified Reporting: A streamlined reporting process is offerred to verified GCA members, requiring only two essential links for reporting infringements in simple situations.
  • Fast-Track Enforcement: Verified GCA members enter a priority queue, ensuring rapid resolution of takedown notices.
  • Proactive Protection: Valid IP assets are integrated into Temu’s Proactive Monitoring System to automatically detect and remove suspicious listings, helping prevent potential future infringements.
  • Dedicated Support: Participants have access to a prioritised escalation channel and a dedicated Point of Contact (POC) at Temu for complex issues.

How GCA Members can participate

The program is designed to be simple and accessible for all GCA members:

  • Onboarding: GCA members interested in participating can reach out to Amanda at hello@gca.cards to receive the dedicated program guides and the simplified reporting template.
  • Submit the Reporting File: When an infringement is identified, members simply fill out the reporting file and send it directly to the exclusive Temu contact email provided.
  • Rapid Resolution: Once submitted, the Temu team processes the request through an expedited “Fast-track” channel. Members can expect a direct update once the review is complete.

Ready to participate?

As part of the onboarding process, Temu has provided the GCA with a confidentiality (NDA) agreement. This will be shared with members who express interest in joining the initiative, so you can review it before participating.

To get started, contact hello@gca.cards and include “Temu” in the subject line so your enquiry can be directed to the right member of the GCA team.
